Habitat Gardens

Our gardens showcase a rich variety of California native plants, including succulents and drought-tolerant species, creating a vibrant habitat for birds, pollinators, and other urban wildlife. The plantings also provide shelter for small creatures like garter snakes, salamanders, and snails, supporting a healthy and diverse ecosystem. In addition, the park features two bioswales designed to collect rainwater runoff. These bioswales are planted with water-loving natives, helping to filter and absorb stormwater naturally while enhancing habitat for wildlife.

For a list of plants that are growing in our park, please refer to the Tunnel Top Park plant list on the Calscape website
